Slope Stabilisation & Protection with ArmaMat® at Lumut Balai Unit 2 Geothermal Plant, Muara Enim, South Sumatra, Indonesia.
Reinforced Earth, PT Freyssinet Total Technology got the opportunity for rst application of erosion control blanket and protective Net
for hauling road development of Lumut Balai Unit 2 Geothermal Plant. After massive cut and ll works in hauling development, it was important to protect the cut slope from surface erosion.
Thus, erosion control solution was proposed. In addition, some high slopes had to be stabilised with soil nailing. Reinforced Earth, PT Freyssinet Total Technology worked together to provide combined solution of soil nail and ArmaMat® (combination of TerraGreen®
and Rectangular Net) to stabilise the slopes and still provide green vegetated facing. In this project, Geoquest supplied 2,525 m2
of ArmaMat® Eco, 20,890 m2 of TerraGreen® and 23,415 m2 of hydroseeding works.
